The School Improvement Package provides twenty (20) days of technical assistance, school coaching, and  professional development in support of a collaboratively-constructed project strategically designed to support student achievement.

  The Focus Schools Project Process

  1. Chesapeake CES meets with school and district leaders, leadership, and/or school improvement teams to assist in reviewing student achievement and other available data.
  2. With Chesapeake CES support, the school designs a measurable project which will help to attain the goals established as part of its school improvement plan.
  3. Chesapeake CES helps to gather baseline data to support the project (typically process, perception, and/or demographic data) and then provides classroom coaching, professional development, and ongoing data discussion in support of the School Improvement Project goal.
